Tesla_BLE_Scanner

It isn’t because I actually think it could happen

But considering the threats to Canadian sovereignty and the inextricable link in my mind between Elon Musk, Donald Trunk, Tesla, and the creeping rise of fascism, I just thought it might be worth exploring.

I find BLE, and generally anything that can be thought of as a meshnet to be fascinating, so I ported Esp32vsEvil’s TeslaScanner to the Bruce firmware, flashed a custom version to my cardputer and took my dog on a walk in a nicer neighborhood. You can check out my version here.

I was pleased to find it worked like a charm. I should note that at the time these were scanned, there were no Teslas in my line of sight, and I suspect they were parked underneath a nearby apartment complex. Not bad for the small yet mighty esp32.

If I was going to build this out any further I would add a sound notification to alert me in case any fascist sympathizers roll up on me in their quiet electric vehicles. Though that might be a better project for the Hak5 Wifi Pineapple Pager’s beautiful RTTTL (Ring Tone Text Transfer Language) ringtones.
